Lookouts Cruise to Round 2 with Sweep Sunday, September 17th , 2023 The Chattanooga Lookouts have swept the Rocket City Trash Pandas and are on to the Round 2. Chattanooga won 4-3 today at AT&T Field to clinch the Round 1. "We're happy to have put the dagger in when we had the chance," said Chattanooga first baseman Bryant Packard, who was named MVP for the series. "It could have been a tough series to finish if we let them start winning." Packard won the award with a .611 batting average and a .600 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 1 runs. The Chattanooga Lookouts don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Biloxi Shuckers - Pensacola Blue Wahoos series. Biloxi leads the series 3 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
